We collect nothing

Effective date: 16 October 2026 · App: AksharPakharu (अक्षरपाखरू), package in.aksharpakharu.app

AksharPakharu is a learning app for children. It works entirely on the device: it has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases, and it does not send any information anywhere.

What the app stores, and where

All of this is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded, and nobody — including us — can see it.

What the app does not do

Sharing progress (only if you choose to)

The Parent Zone has a “send progress” button. If a parent taps it, the phone's own share menu opens with a text summary of the child's progress, and the parent chooses where to send it (for example, to themselves). Nothing is sent unless a parent does this.

Children

The app is designed for children aged 4–8 using it with a parent. Because it collects no personal information, there is nothing to request, correct or delete on our side. The Parent Zone, where profiles are created and progress can be reset, is behind a question meant for adults.

Deleting data

Use Parent Zone → Start again to clear progress, or delete a profile from the Parent Zone. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. Clearing the app's data in your phone's settings does the same.
